Program Announcements

Each of CCM&GS's monthly meetings features a presentation by a locally or nationally renowned speaker. Subjects range from rockhounding to the lapidary arts, and mineralogy to geomorphology.

CCM&GS Speakers are often tops in the nation. And CCM&GS is considered by many to be San Francisco's premier venue for speakers in the earth sciences and lapidary arts.

We meet the second Monday of the month (third in June) at the Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Road, Concord, CA. Check Club Meeting Dates here. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the program begins at 7:30 pm. Visitors are always welcome, and there is no fee.

December Program

Holiday Potluck and Awards Dinner

The Holiday Meeting begins at 6:30 pm earlier than our regular meetings with set-up at 6:00 pm

Don't miss the annual CCM&GS Holiday Potluck and Awards Dinner, Monday December 12 at the Centre Concord. Holiday Dinner Preparation

It is the big finale to another big year. And, it is the time our regular monthly meeting turns into a gala celebration of past achievements and future club possibilities with the installation of next year's officers.

Plus, as always, it is a time to enjoy holiday dinner, the camaraderie of fellow members, and renew old relationships. Guests, friends and family are welcome.

Bring a main course dish or a side course such as an appetizer, salad, or desert. Bring utensils and plates this year, and you're good to go.

The lapidary and ornament gift exchange is always a big hit. Members who wish to participate, should bring a gift that your fellow rockhounder would be happy to receive. The gift exchange is optional.

See you Monday, December 12, 6:30 pm, Dinner at 7:00 pm

Happy Holidays
